How to Share a Session for Public Evaluation

Make sessions public, share evaluation links, publish results, and opt into The Current.

Direct links: all plans · The Current: Creator and up3 minutes

Overview

Sharing a session lets other people evaluate your images — diverse feedback beyond your own eye. The fastest way is one tap: Send to The Current. This article covers that, plus sharing a direct link, fine-tuning access, and publishing results.

Before You Start

  • You have a session with at least 2 uploaded images
  • Sending to The Current requires a Creator plan or higher
  • You are comfortable with anonymous evaluators seeing watermarked versions of your images

Steps

1

Send to The Current (one tap)

From your Dashboard, click "Send to The Current" on any session card (Creator plan and up). Confirm once, and your set goes Public, opens to anonymous evaluators, and joins the community ranking pool — all in a single action. Evaluators across Prevue discover and rank your images, and you can remove the set from the feed anytime.

2

Or share a direct link

Prefer to send your own link instead of (or alongside) the community pool? On the session detail page, set visibility to Public and turn on "Open to anonymous evaluators" in the Evaluation Access panel, then copy the evaluation link to share with colleagues, communities, social media, or clients. All images shown to evaluators are server-side watermarked.

3

Fine-tune access (optional)

The Evaluation Access panel on the session detail page lets you boost the session's priority in The Current, adjust watermark opacity, and re-copy the share link. The one-tap button and these toggles control the same settings — use whichever you prefer.

4

Publish your results (optional)

Once satisfied with rankings, click Publish Results to generate a permanent, shareable results page. This link shows ranked images with confidence scores and evaluator data — ideal for client presentations or portfolio sharing.

Troubleshooting

"Send to The Current" shows a Creator+ lock

Symptom: The button on the session card has a lock icon and an upgrade prompt.

Fix: Sending to The Current is a Creator-and-up feature. Upgrade to Creator, or share a direct evaluation link instead — direct links work on all plans.

I cannot change visibility to Public

Symptom: The Public visibility option is not available or grayed out.

Fix: The session may be in Draft status (no images uploaded yet). Upload at least one image to move to Active status, then change visibility.

Evaluators say the link does not work

Symptom: People see an error or access denied page.

Fix: Check that the session status is Active or Stable (not Closed). Copy the evaluation link again from the session detail page and re-share.

I cannot unpublish my results

Symptom: The unpublish option is disabled or shows a warning.

Fix: Sessions with Team or Public evaluations cannot be unpublished to protect the visibility of crowd evaluators' contributed work. Published results from community evaluations are permanent.
